admin | dive destinations | Thursday, June 26th, 2008

Scuba Diving in Cozumel is simply a magical experience, we recently travel there in a scuba diving holiday and experience a great service.

We choose a dive center in Cozumel called Scuba Staff Divers, and overall the service was brilliant, we really enjoy our time scuba diving in Cozumel, so later on we decided to go Scuba Diving in Villablanca, again with the same Cozumel Dive Center

Villablanca is a lovely mexican destination, located just two  miles from downtown, one of the best spots for shore diving.

My wife is a keen snorkler and she decided to visit the magical Shallow reef, and because it was a pretty easy shore dive and decided to join. Overall great time scuba diving in Cozumel, great location, cool dive shop, lovely people

Scuba Diving Egypt

Sharm el Sheikh is a surprising place - more lively than we would have thought. Many bars and eating places and you can wander around the shops in Naama Bay until the wee small hours. Sharm El Sheikh at the northern part of the Red Sea is the more established center having been a popular vacation resort area as both Egyptians and Europeans have been vacationing here for many years. The local scuba dive industry grew along with the overall steady growth of classy resorts, shops and other tourist services in Sharm El Sheikh.

Dives within the Ble Hole are conducted to 30m maximum. Towards the end of the dive there is a saddle in the reef at about 6m where you can enjoy the beauty of the outer reef. Diving camps were set up in the areas around this inconspicuous little town, and then in the past few years developed into a diving and holiday paradise.

Scuba Diving Fiji

admin | Uncategorized | Monday, May 19th, 2008

Experience the diversity and drama of pristine South Pacific coral reefs at their most colorful and lavish. Enjoy charming Fijian and Pacific cultures during the vacation of your dreams from the comfort of Fiji’s premier live aboard diving vessel and her famously friendly crew. Experience some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the world.

Corals, sharks and various colorful fishes abound so get your waterproof camera ready. The shallow reefs are also ideal for snorkeling because youll be able to see plenty of sea life even if you stay close to the water’s surface. Corals in coral reefs, which are made up of animals called polyps that secrete hard external skeletons of calcium carbonate, are living perilously close to their upper temperature limits. This makes them very vulnerable to even small temperature rises of 1-2oC above the normal summer maximum. Coral reefs are sensitive and require shelter in order to thrive. If you have ever dived at an open ocean atoll, you may have noticed that it was not as flourishing as a sheltered one, since the unprotected atoll is constantly stressed by the pounding storm surf and ocean swells.

The cities retain a surprising amount of scenic attractions including Wats (temples) and Palaces. Thailand’s Andaman Sea offers exciting scuba diving opportunities for all levels of divers, gentle sloping reefs covered with beautiful collections of soft and hard corals. Huge fallen boulders and rocks forming an amazing collection of swim-throughs and caverns, or deep walls covered in an amazing selection of coloured corals, there are dives to suit all tastes.

Thailand, the Land of Smiles, holds the promise of exotic adventures in beautiful natural settings. Whether you are interested in an idyllic beach holiday or elephant treks to remote hill tribes, Thailand has it all. Learn to Dive

admin | Uncategorized | Monday, May 19th, 2008

Scuba diving is the use of independent breathing equipment to stay underwater for long periods for recreational diving and professional diving. Generally the diver swims underwater, but walking and the use of diver propulsion vehicles is possible while breathing from scuba equipment.

Scuba divers breathe compressed air, and the depth and length of your dive all affect the way your body absorbs its oxygen. There are various methods to calculate the length of time you can safely dive, and you will be expected to thoroughly familiarise yourself with them.

Course includes theory, dive skills, stamina tests, practical application and assisting with confined and open water dives from other PADI courses. It is best to take your time, and learn as much as possible about diving.
